Pieter Rombouts
Pieter Rombouts was born in Leuven on december 30, 1971. In the period 1989-1991 he followed the degree "kandidaat Burgerlijk Ingenieur" at the KULeuven. Next, he studied "Burgerlijk Natuurkundig Ingenieur" at Ghent University, where he graduated in 1994. Upon this, he joined the Electronics and Information systems Laboratory (ELIS) at Ghent University, where he obtained the degree of Doctor in 2000, with the dissertation "Foutcorrectie voor D/A- en A/D-convertors" (English: "Error correction for D/A and A/D-convertor"). In 2002 he was a visiting guest professor at the Universidad Carlos III of Madrid (Spain). Since 2005 he is a professor of analog Elektronics at Ghent University (Electronics and Information systems Laboratory). His technical interests are signal processing, circuit- en system theory and analog circuit design. | |
