Pierre Woestyn
Pierre Woestyn was born in Ghent in 1984. He studied from 2002 to 2007 at the Faculty of Engineering at the University of Ghent where he received his degree in electrical engineering. The subject of his thesis was "Een volledig digitaal gestuurde geschakelde audioversterker" ("A fully digital switching audio amplifier"). In this thesis it was attempted to build a switching power amplifier without analogue signal processing. Pierre Woestyn is currently with the CAS research group of the department Electronica en Informatiesystemen (ELIS). His research is focused on micromechanical inertial sensors. | |
