Jonas Borgmans

Jonas Borgmans was born in Sint-Niklaas on August 2, 1994. He obtained his MSc. degree in Electrical Engineering with a major in Electrical Circuits and Systems from the Faculty of Engineering at the University of Ghent, where he studied from 2012 to 2017. His master thesis dealt with high-frequency chip design and was titled: “Chip design of a 40Gbit/s laser driver for optical datacenter interconnections”, which awarded him the IMEC-award that rewards the best dissertation in the field of nano-electronics every year. After graduating, he joined the Circuits And Systems (CAS) research group at the Department of Electronics en Information Systems (ELIS) at Ghent University, and started working as a PhD researcher in the field of (VCO-based) A/D-converters. |
